Day 01: Fly to Bahir Dar and visit Blue Nile Falls & And the open and coulerful market of Bahir Dar Lake Over Night Hotel

Day 02: Full day Visiting Tana Lake Island monasteries. Overnight hotel.

Day 03: Drive to Gondar and visit castles, Debre Berhane Selassie Church whose walls and ceiling covered with vivid murals and Felasha (Black Jews) Village.

Day 04: Fly to Lalibela and explore the 13th century rock-hewn churches.

Day 05: Fly to Axum and visit the Archaeological Museum, 2000 years old mysterious monolithic obelisks, ruins of Queen Sheba palace, Kaleb’s Tomb and Tsion Mariam Church - the last resting place of the Ark of the Covenant.

Day 06: Fly back to Addis Ababa.

Day 01. Arrive Addis Ababa.

Day 02. Fly to Bahir Dar.

Day 03. AM drive Blue Nile Falls and PM boat trip to the Island monasteries on Lake Tana.

Day 04. Drive to Gondar; visit castles and churches in the PM.

Day 05. Drive to Axum passing through the Semien Mountains.

Day 06. Full day at Axum.

Day 07. Drive to the Yeha temple; so proceed to the Debre Damo monastery, where men climb with ropes for about 16 mts. Women are not allowed.

Day 08. Drive to Mekele by admiring churches as Abreha-we-Atsbeha & Wikro Cherkos.

Day 09. Drive to Lalibella, admiring spectacular views via Sekota. O/N Lalibella.

Day 10. Full day Rock-hewn churches of Lalibella.

Day 11. Morning excursion by mules to the Asheten Mariam human Afternoon drive to the Naktule’ab cave church and possibly participate to a coffee ceremony in a traditional house.

Day 12. Fly back Addis Ababa. Afternoon free and visit the Mercato, biggest open air market in Africa. Dinner with folklorist dance O/N htl.
